Animation is Base Movement | English version
Base Movement is a Character Animation training course in Autodesk Maya. 40 practical tasks, 9 hours of video lectures.
I've been teaching animation to people for the last 10 years. During this time, I realized that the classic program of online animation schools is outdated. It is too long, heavy for students and very expensive.
The result of a long search for the optimal learning path was the Animation is.. course program.
The main theses of the program:
- No more abstract tasks, bouncing balls, squirrels and other things that will almost never happen in your animation career. Only real tasks that are as close as possible to future work tasks.
- Step-by-step work on the task. You don't need to do everything at once. Let's animate the pelvis and legs first, then the chest and head, then the arms.
- Pose to pose is a very strong approach to animation, but there are a ton of tasks that it doesn't solve, especially in game animation. Spline animation is working in Graph Editor, that's what the future of animation is. In the course program, I'm building a bridge between the classic pose-to-pose approach and the spline method. We take the best, cut off the excess.
Currently on Animation is... courses there are more than 1000 students and I get a lot of positive feedback from students. Many people get a job and thank me for writing the course. So I can say with confidence that I know how to teach animation in the shortest possible time for minimal money.
So let's go!
